Description
Krakatao Chili is a rich fertile variety of pepperoni with long, smooth and bright red pods that can reach a length of up to 15 cm. They have a typical pepperoni flavor with a mild to medium heat depending on how much sun and heat they get. Chillies are suitable for fresh consumption, for pickling and for drying and grinding into chili powder. Cultivation: Germination temperature is between 22°C and 28°C (germination period: 8-21 days); therefore, the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilized, permeable soil and do not tolerate irrigation. We plant them in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Place the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost. To preserve the plant over the winter, after harvesting, cut it by 20 cm and place it in a bright place with a temperature of at least 15°C.
