Description
Amber ale was developed as an alternative to American Pale ale. The focus of Amber ales is on a caramelly sweet flavour, with moderate hopping. The versions differ, of course, with some favouring a more caramelly sweet taste, while others emphasise the hops. This is where the line between Amber Ales and Red IPA styles is slowly blurring.
